Geometric classes controlling spatiotemporal expression in repressor chains

I will talk about a family of one-dimensional repressor network as a simple model of gene regulatory networks in interacting cells. The general properties derived from these repressor chains provide useful information to classify the geometric classes of the regulatory networks, each of which shows different spatiotemporal expression such as traveling waves, spatiotemporal crystal, quasicrystal, or chaos as spontaneous symmetry breaking. Numerical analysis characterizes such geometric classes in more detail.
