Communication - topology relationship of complex networks:} Communication is vital at any level of life -from a cell to human society. The network structure constrains communication in a complex system, and we will therefore investigate the capacity to transfer information in social, man-made and biological networks. One inspiration to working with the communication-topology relation in complex networks, is to develop dynamical models, as for example illustrated in the applet..... Also, we aim to develop information theoretical tools to quantify the topological complexity of networks, including -in particular- how signaling can be investigated in biological networks (see applet). The center also investigates the perspective of communication costs on biological networks information, and thus aims at developing tools to deal with signaling in regulatory networks.
