Extended dynamical systems

Extended dynamical systems can display a rich spatio-temporal behaviour, thereby serving as inspiration for how to model non-equilibrium systems in general and feedback systems in particular. Under this topic we develop and play with models like the Kuramoto equation, stochastic front dynamics and also on various models for collective bahavior in human behavior. The latter for example illustrated in the fashion applet, where a positive feedback from perseption of value to other epoples perception can drives elsewise identical goods to obtain hugely different "values".
